新英格蘭地區中華民國（臺灣）同學會聯合會（FTSANE）與麻省理工學院（MIT）、哈佛大學（Harvard）、柏克理音樂學院（Berklee）、新英格蘭音樂學院（NEC）、薩福克大學（Suffolk）以及麻省大學阿默斯特分校（UMass-Amherst）的臺灣同學會，聯合於2025年2月8日晚間，在麻省理工學院（MIT）隆重舉辦「2025年春酒活動」，吸引來自哈佛、MIT、Berklee、NEC、Suffolk及UMass-Amherst等校及大波士頓地區的臺灣留學生齊聚一堂，共慶新春。本次活動不僅促進各校臺灣留學生間的交流，也藉此介紹波士頓地區的專業組織，為留學生提供學術與職涯發展資源。當晚活動吸引了約250位留學生及來賓熱情參與，現場氣氛熱烈。
駐波士頓臺北經濟文化辦事處處長廖朝宏偕教育組組長黃薳玉、科技組組長蔡孟勳及僑教中心主任高家富特別應邀出席活動，向與會者致新春祝福，並鼓勵大家珍惜在美求學的機會，積極拓展人脈與專業技能。廖處長除了向與會同學及貴賓道賀新年，亦期許留學生在求學時亦擔任國家的文化大使；黃組長則勉勵學生們善用教育組提供的服務、宣導預防留學生詐騙與健保新近實施之停復保制度，並祝福大家新年快樂、學業進步，請留學生時時與在臺親友保持聯繫。

、元宵猜燈謎、趣味抽獎等，現場氣氛熱烈，笑聲不斷。許多與會學生紛紛表示，這場春酒不僅讓大家在異鄉感受到濃厚的年節氛圍，也提供了寶貴的社交機會，讓彼此建立更緊密的聯繫。
本次活動的成功舉辦，不僅歸功於各學生會的通力合作，也感謝教育部慰勞海外留學生的支持。未來，FTSANE將持續舉辦各類活動，凝聚新英格蘭地區旅美臺灣學子的向心力，讓更多學生在波士頓找到歸屬感與成長機會

FTSANE Hosts 2025 Spring Banquet, Uniting Taiwanese Students Across New England 🎉🌸
On February 8, 2025, the Federation of Taiwanese Student Associations in New England (FTSANE), in collaboration with the Taiwanese Student Associations of MIT, Harvard, Berklee College of Music, New England Conservatory (NEC), Suffolk University, and UMass Amherst, hosted the 2025 Spring Banquet at MIT. This grand event brought together Taiwanese students from across Greater Boston, celebrating the Lunar New Year while fostering friendships and professional connections. In addition to strengthening bonds between students, the banquet also introduced professional organizations in Boston, providing valuable academic and career resources. The event attracted around 250 students and guests, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
Distinguished guests included Director-General Chao-Hung Liao of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Boston, along with Education Director Yuanyu Huang, Science Director Meng-Hsun Tsai, and Overseas Community Affairs Center Director Jiafu Kao. They extended their New Year blessings, encouraging students to seize the opportunities of studying abroad, build strong networks, and develop professional skills. Director-General Liao not only wished everyone a prosperous year but also inspired students to serve as cultural ambassadors for Taiwan. Meanwhile, Education Director Huang reminded students to take advantage of the services provided by the Education Division, stay vigilant against scams targeting international students, and stay informed about the newly implemented health insurance policies. She also urged students to keep in touch with family and friends back home.
The evening featured an exciting program, including authentic Taiwanese cuisine, live music performances by talented students from Berklee and NEC, a Lantern Riddle Contest, and a lucky draw, filling the venue with laughter and joy. Many attendees shared that the event not only brought the warmth of the Lunar New Year to those far from home but also provided a valuable platform for social networking and meaningful connections.
The success of this event was made possible by the dedicated collaboration of the student associations and the support from Taiwan’s Ministry of Education.
