🌱 💻 To support environmental sustainability, reduce mailing costs, improve verification efficiency, and advance digital services, the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) will adopt digital score reports and digital certificates for tests administered on or after January 1, 2026. These digital documents have the same legal validity as printed versions and are issued by the Ministry of Education. They may be used for academic admission, employment, and any purpose requiring proof of Chinese proficiency. This transition allows test takers to access and store their documents more quickly, conveniently, and securely.
For TOCFL tests administered from 2026 onward, candidates and group registration coordinators can download digital score reports and certificates via the TOCFL Online Registration System on each test’s score release date. For those who take the test at the Culture Center of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles, the digital score report and certificate will be sent to their email addresses. Printed documents will no longer be provided. Organizations that need to verify the authenticity of documents may use the Ministry of Education’s Electronic Certificate Verification System.🔍
