The Taiwan International Conference on Ocean Governance 2023 (TICOG2023), co-hosted by the Ocean Affairs Council (OAC), National Development Council, and American Institute in Taiwan Kaohsiung Branch Office (AIT/K), is currently accepting paper submissions.
The conference will focus on six key fields including Ocean Law and Policy, Marine, Culture and Education; Marine Science and Technology; Ocean Conservation; Maritime Safety and Security; Ocean Engineering; and Marine Industry. All papers must be written in English and be submitted by March 3, 2023 to youthocean@oac.gov.tw.
Accepted papers will be notified by April 14, 2023. Selected papers will be presented as oral presentations. Foreign participants will attend the conference virtually. The top three winning papers will be awarded prizes of NT$18,000, NT$10,000, and NT$6,000. (approximately equivalent to US$600, US$333, and US$200 subject to the exchange rate) respectively.
