National Chengchi University (NCCU), a comprehensive public university founded in 1927, is known for offering outstanding programs in humanities, social sciences and commerce in Taiwan. In 2021, NCCU established the Global Communication and Innovative Technology Master's Program (GCIT), the first international and interdisciplinary graduate program in Taiwan to train comprehensive communication skills in new media technology, by incorporating faculty and resources from five of NCCU’s colleges: Communication, Informatics, Law, Liberal Arts and Innovation.
Additionally, GCIT features:
☐ Lectures given in both English and Chinese.
☐Faculty from domestic and international experts in academia and industry, together with cooperation and mutual exchange with partner universities.
☐Two-thirds of the incoming GCIT students will be awarded a full scholarship or a tuition waiver.
☐ Dual advisor system.
☐ A subsidy for 6-month internships.
