Taiwan Visiting Chinese Language Teachers Program (download guidelines)
臺灣華語教師赴海外大學/學區任教計畫：Taiwan Ministry of Education, in cooperation with universities and/or school districts in the U.S., encourage and subsidize Taiwan’s professional Chinese language teachers to teach in American universities and/or school districts. The teachers are highly qualified, having attained undergraduate or postgraduate degrees, as well as certificates for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, issued by Taiwan Ministry of Education. The grant from the Ministry of Education includes:
(1) Living allowance of US$1,600 per month,
(2) Round-trip airfare of US$1,750,
(3) Subsidy of US$300 for textbooks and teaching materials.
The Application will open on January 1st every year. Interested Schools/ School Districts please submit an official request letter and the Information Form ( see Downloads) to Education Division of TECO in New York.before end of March every year.
教育部與國外大學/學區合作，以平等互惠方式提供補助，獎勵臺灣優質華語教學人員來美任教。教師必須具有教育部對外華語教學能力證書，取得臺灣或國外學士以上學位證書，並具有對外華語教學經驗。臺灣教育部提供的補助包括：
（1）每月生活費美金1,600元
（2）來回經濟艙機票費美金1,750元
（3）教材教具補助費美金300元
