Timeline

We recommend a two-year plan of study for completion of the Global MBA. However, the timeline is flexible based on the individual’s needs.

You may squeeze the study in 1 year, or you may finish in 1.5 or 2 years. If you are a part-time student or you would like to join our exchange program, you may have a longer study period of up to 3 or 4 years.

Notes when choosing your electives

Students may elect to take a maximum of six credits of Chinese-taught classes to satisfy the Global MBA degree requirements.  All elective classes must be at the Master’s or Graduate level (i.e., the courses with the “M” or “U” codes) and offered by the NTU College of Management.  If you will be taking courses from NTNU or NTUST, please check with the GMBA office if the courses may meet graduation requirements.

Chinese Language Courses

For international students, Chinese language courses for all skill levels are offered, free of charge, for up to one year through NTU’s Office of International Affairs. Although these courses are taken for credit and will appear on students’ transcripts, they do not count towards the Global MBA graduation requirement.

Academic Ethics Course
Graduate students admitted from the academic year 2018-2019 onwards are required to pass six hours of academic ethics courses according to the regulations of National Taiwan University. Online academic ethics courses are available here: https://ethics.moe.edu.tw/. After you complete the courses and pass the final exam, you may download the certificate of completion after 12:00 noon the next day. Please show this certificate when you apply for your graduation.
