The Education Division of TECO-Boston is currently promoting the “Taiwan Foreign English Teacher Program” which focuses on teaching English in K-9 public schools in Taiwan.
Teachers are held in high esteem culturally in Taiwan. Moreover, Taiwan has successfully fought the COVID pandemic, maintaining a low number of cases, and schools remain open. Taiwan would be an excellent place for US teachers seeking to gain global teaching experience. The Ministry of Education in Taiwan is looking for candidates with a teaching certificate issued by the residing State in the U.S. Benefits include a subsidy of annual round-trip airfare, housing stipend, overtime pay, and health and labor insurance. Selected teachers will have an opportunity to enjoy the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Taiwan and world-class Taiwanese cuisine.
