A total of 13 beneficiaries of the Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program were selected and honored by the Ministries of Education (MOE), Foreign Affairs (MOFA) and Science and Technology (MOST) on June 11, 2020 in Taipei for outstanding performances during their stay in Taiwan. 9 of the beneficiaries are granted by MOE, while the other 4 by MOFA.
At a farewell party attended by nearly 560 scholarship recipients from 66 countries in their final semester of study at 62 universities in Taiwan.
Established in 2004, the above scholarship programs encourage outstanding students from countries around the world to study traditional Mandarin or undertake degree programs in Taiwan.
