The National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), located in Taiwan's ancient and cultural capital– Tainan City, is one of Taiwan's top research-intensive universities and a leader in promoting industry-academia cooperation. In particular, the newly established Academy of Innovative Semiconductor and Sustainable Manufacturing (AISSM) of NCKU has strong R&D resources to cultivate different levels of semiconductor talents needed by the industry.
This summer NCKU will provide an online introductory program from August 26 to September 2, 2022 (Taiwan time UTC+8) for full-time enrolled university students who are interested in learning about this fundamentally important semiconductor industry that supports our daily life in an era of chips and automation. Students will get a big picture of the semiconductor supply chains and the core technologies involved in semiconductor manufacturing through the courses.
