Taiwan ICDF Scholarship

The TaiwanICDF Higher Education Scholarship provides international students from partner countries with opportunities to pursue master’s and doctoral degree programs at accredited universities in Taiwan. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and airfare, helping students gain advanced knowledge and professional skills while fostering academic exchange and international cooperation. 


The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, including:

  • Tuition fees

  • Accommodation expenses

  • Textbook costs

  • One-way economy class airfare to Taiwan

  • Monthly stipend:

    • NT$18,000 for Master’s degree students

    • NT$20,000 for PhD students

Partner Programs and Study Fields

Applicants may apply only to TaiwanICDF partner universities and programs.

Degree Availability for Filipino Applicants

Currently, no bachelor’s degree programs are offered for applicants from the Philippines under the TaiwanICDF Scholarship.

Students who wish to pursue undergraduate studies in Taiwan may consider applying for the Ministry of Education (Taiwan) (MOE) Taiwan Scholarship.

University Admission Requirement

Applicants must also apply directly to the university or college for admission within the institution’s application deadline. Each university sets its own admission schedule and requirements.

Application Period

The TaiwanICDF Scholarship application period is typically open from January 1 to March 15 each year.
