The 2023 International Intelligent Ironman Creativity Contest, sponsored by the Youth Development Administration, Ministry of Education, and organized by National Taiwan University, will be held from August 18 to 21 at the National Penghu University of Science and Technology, Penghu, Taiwan.
This 72-hour non-stop competition features virtual shop, side tasks, creativity challenges, and main task evaluation. Participants must creatively use their knowledge to design and create an actual product. All the previous examples can be found on its official website.
High school and vocational high school students are eligible to form teams of 4 to 6 members. It is advised to have teammates of different disciplines due to the need for knowledge from natural sciences, social science, and other ability such as implementation, creativity, and physical strength.
Each country is allowed one team, and the host will cover living and lodging expenses for all selected teams. Partial financial support for transportation expenses is also subject to availability. The winning team will receive a prize of US$7,000! The deadline for registration is May 31, 2023.
