Taiwanese students with superb Information Technology (IT) skills won 2nd place in the Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship 友善列印

The Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) World Championship, known as the "IT Olympics," resumed the physical on-site competition this year in Anaheim, CA from July 24 to July 27, 2022. The competition attracts more than 1 million players from all over the world, and 95 players from 21 countries who won in a National Championship were invited to compete for the world championship.

The Taiwanese team consisted of 5 students from Chihlee University of Technology, Taipei City University of Science & Technology (TPCU), and Chung-Hsin High School. Students participated in competitions that tested their skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel® and PowerPoint®. Among them, Ching-Chi Tsao from Chihlee University of Technology won 2nd place in the Microsoft Word (Office 2016) competition. Representatives of the Education Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles attended the award ceremony on July 27, 2022 and conveyed a congratulatory message from the Minister of Education Wen-chung Pan which congratulated the team for winning glory for the country and the student Ching-Chi Tsao for winning the award!
