The National Taipei University (NTPU) is a public research university in Taiwan that offers a wide range of programs and places a strong emphasis on innovation, diversity, and social responsibility. Notably, NTPU's bachelor’s degree program in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (ITCSL) is an innovative offering that is open to international students with a passion for learning and teaching the Chinese language, regardless of their Mandarin proficiency.
The ITCSL program offers a unique feature of Mandarin courses, which are available to students with no Chinese foundation during the first two years. Additionally, students have the option to specialize in Teaching skills, or Cultural and Business Chinese courses that prepares them for their future careers in Mandarin teaching or business.
